Every session at Sauna Y Coed offers a comprehensive wellness experience, 

including:

• Wood-Fired Sauna for a relaxing and rejuvenating heat therapy session.
• Three Cold Plunge Tubs to invigorate your body and enhance circulation.
• Three Gravity-Fed Outdoor Showers (unheated) for a refreshing rinse.
• Separate Male/Female Changing Areas equipped with lockers for secure storage.
• Outdoor Seating and Beds to unwind and soak up the tranquil woodland atmosphere.
• Open Fire Pit (lit during evening and dark hours) to add warmth and ambiance.

To ensure you have the best experience, we recommend bringing the following:

• Swimwear or a Towel Wrap for comfort and modesty.
• Two Towels – one to sit on and the other for drying off.
• Water Bottle – staying hydrated is key; we recommend drinking at least 1L of water during your visit.
• Flip-Flops or Slippers – ideal for walking around the sauna area.
• Clean Warm Clothing – to wear after your session and help you prolong that refreshed feeling from the sauna.
• Torch - recommended for our night sessions to help navigate the hill safely.

Our group and private sauna sessions are available in durations of 55 or 85 minutes. This gives you plenty of time to fully enjoy the soothing warmth of the sauna, take invigorating dips in the cold plunge tubs, and unwind in our serene social spaces.

Whether you’re looking for a quick escape or a longer, more immersive experience, our sessions are designed to leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated.

If it’s your first time, we’ll walk you through the process, explaining everything from how to get the most out of your sauna session to safely enjoying the cold plunge. For those who prefer a more independent experience, we’re happy to step back and let you immerse yourself in the tranquillity.

We’re always on hand to answer any questions or provide assistance throughout your visit, ensuring your experience is both relaxing and enjoyable. At Sauna Y Coed, our goal is to make everyone feel welcome and cared for, regardless of their level of experience.

While we kindly ask that no outside food or alcohol be brought into the sauna area (except for water), our friends at Hiatus Coffee, located just 100 metres away in the main reception building, have everything you need to enhance your experience and they even offer 10% off to Sauna Y Coed Customers.

Before, during  or after your session, indulge in a selection of freshly brewed coffees, teas, and light snacks, all enjoyed with breathtaking views of the reservoir. For an added touch of relaxation, we recommend trying one of their herbal teas, which can perfectly complement the soothing effects of the sauna.

At Sauna Y Coed, we’ve carefully designed our facilities to ensure a luxurious and seamless experience in the heart of the woods.

Changing Rooms
We offer open-plan changing areas with separate male and female spaces. Each is equipped with lockers, storage cubes, a changing platform, shoe racks, and hangers for your convenience.

Toilets
Our toilets are clearly signposted and located just 100 metres from the woodland wellness area, at our main reception building.

Showers
Enjoy our unheated, copper rain-head showers, which are gravity-fed for a refreshing, natural experience. To preserve our woodland setting, we kindly ask that no cleaning products be used during your visit.

Lockers & Storage
We provide complimentary secure lockers for smaller items such as phones, wallets, jewellery, and keys. For larger belongings, you’ll find convenient hangers, racks, and storage cubes.

Our woodland setting includes uneven paths that can make access challenging, but we are dedicated to doing everything we can to assist disabled guests.

Booking your sauna experience is quick and easy, with online booking being the simplest and most reliable option.

• Online: The easiest and best way to secure your session is by clicking the ‘Book Now’ buttons on this page and reserving your spot through our website.
• By Phone: You can also call us on 01554 788131 to book directly with a member of our team.
• Walk-Ins: While we accept walk-ins subject to availability, this is not recommended as spaces fill up quickly. Pre-booking online is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your session to allow time for check-in and to get comfortably settled. If you arrive late, your session will unfortunately be shortened to ensure we can accommodate the next booking on time.

As much as we’d love to extend sessions for late arrivals, our schedule doesn’t allow for it. To make the most of your experience, we encourage planning ahead to arrive with plenty of time to spare.

Due to the high demand for our services, we have implemented the following cancellation and refund policy:

• More than 72 hours before your session: Full refund, excluding a 5% non-refundable booking fee.
• Between 72 and 48 hours before your session: 50% refund, excluding a 5% non-refundable booking fee.
• Between 48 and 24 hours before your session: 25% refund, excluding a 5% non-refundable booking fee.
• Less than 24 hours before your session: No refund.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you the choice of a full refund or credit valued at double the original booking fee for a future session.

Swimming in the reservoir is not currently permitted, however we are in discussions to hopefully make this happen by summer 2025.

To protect both our customers and our natural surroundings, we exclusively use 100% natural cleaning products, ensuring a hygienic and eco-friendly experience.

Children under 18 are not permitted in our communal sauna sessions. However, children aged 12 and above are welcome to join private sessions, provided they are accompanied by an adult at all times.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in tour wellness area for health and safety reasons. However, dogs are welcome on the surrounding woodland walks, and we provide water bowls and dog treats. at our coffee station.

Our woodland fire pit is available for use during evening sessions or upon request. It’s the perfect spot to gather with friends, enjoy the warmth of the fire after a cold plunge, and relax under the stars.
