Job Title: Boat Boy/Girl (Bath/Blenheim/Llanelli)

We are looking for a motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Boat Boy/Girl for the upcoming summer 2024 season. As a Boat Boy/Girl, you will be responsible for taking care of our stand up paddle boards, kayaks and canoes, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and ready for use by our customers. 

Your duties will include:    Ensuring that all watercraft are properly stored and secured when not in use. Performing routine maintenance and repairs on watercraft as needed. Cleaning and maintaining equipment to a high standard. Preparing and launching watercraft for customers. Providing safety instructions and demonstrations to customers. Assisting customers with equipment and answering any questions they may have. Monitoring watercraft usage and ensuring that all customers comply with safety regulations. Responding to emergency situations as necessary. 

Qualifications:  At least 14 years of age.  Strong swimming skills. Its a physical job so the ability to lift and transports craft is essential. Willingness to expand you knowledge of watercraft and their maintenance. Good communication skills and ability to work with customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. CPR and first aid certification preferred.

Job Title: Front of House (Bath/Blenheim)

We are seeking a friendly and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as Front of House for the upcoming summer 2024 season. As Front of House, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, managing bookings, and ensuring that our online booking system is up-to-date. You will also be required to provide support to our Boat Boy/Girl when necessary. 

Your duties will include:  Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner. Managing customer bookings and ensuring that our online booking system is accurate and up-to-date. Answering customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns they may have. Providing support to our Boat Boy/Girl when necessary. Assisting with the preparation and launch of watercraft. Monitoring customer activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Maintaining a clean and organised Front of House area. 

Qualifications:  At least 18 years of age. Strong swimming skills. Prior experience in a customer service role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively. A can-do attitude and a willingness to assist in other areas as needed. Job Title: Freelance Paddlesport Instructor (Bath/Llanelli)

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Freelance Paddlesport Instructors to join our team for the upcoming summer 2024 season. As a Freelance Paddlesport Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding customers in paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing. You will be expected to provide excellent instruction and ensure the safety of our customers while they enjoy their paddling experience.

Your duties will include:

• Conducting safe and effective paddlesport instruction and guided trips for customers of all ages and skill levels.
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and ensuring customers comply with safety regulations.
• Inspecting and maintaining paddlesport equipment to ensure it is in safe and operational condition.
• Providing excellent customer service by answering questions, providing guidance and recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to customer activities and instruction provided.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Paddlesport Instructor certification from a recognised paddlesports governing body.
• Relevant experience in teaching and guiding paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Good organisational and time management skills to manage multiple customers and activities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
