We are looking for passionate sauna hosts to join our team for the 2025 season at Sauna Y Coed. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in sauna hosting, wellness facilitation, or holistic health, who are committed to providing exceptional wellness experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

As a Sauna Host, you will work at Swiss Valley, Llanelli, delivering high-quality sauna and cold plunge experiences for a variety of guests, including private groups, corporate teams, and wellness retreats.

• Opening Duties:
  • Arriving 2.5 hours before the guests to light the sauna stove and prepare the space (Fire lighting, hoovering, setting up plunge tubs, general prep, setting out seating area, cleaning down glass).
  • Making sure everything is ready for the first guests of the day—punctuality is absolutely critical.

  • Posting on Social Media

• Hosting Responsibilities:
  • Greeting guests warmly, providing a short health and safety briefing, and ensuring they feel welcome and cared for.
  • Maintaining the sauna throughout the day: stoking the fire, cleaning between sessions, and being available for any guest questions or needs.
  • Managing group changeovers efficiently and resetting the sauna area for the next session.
  • Posting on social media
  • Ensuring the area is clean and tidy

• Closing Duties:
  • Cleaning and securing the sauna, tubs, and surrounding area at the end of the day.
  • Reflecting on a hard day’s work with a complimentary sauna session!

This is a physically demanding job. You’ll be working outdoors in all weather conditions, managing a hot wood-burning stove, whilst maintaining a smile on your face for customers. It’s not a role for everyone—but if you enjoy hard work with purpose, you’ll love it here.

We’re looking for reliable, friendly individuals with great common sense and a positive attitude.

Essential:

• Punctuality: You must be ready to start on time—every time. Early risers, this one's for you.
• Physical fitness: Comfortable with moderate to heavy lifting and other physical tasks.
• Reliability: Dependable, organised, and able to work independently.
• Flexibility: Happy to work early mornings, weekends, and long shifts (4–14 hours).
• Great communication skills: Able to interact warmly and professionally with guests.

Desirable (but not essential):

• First aid qualification (we can help you get this if needed).
• Experience with wood-burning stoves or similar equipment.
• Experience cutting and chopping wood.
• Local to the Swiss Valley area or within easy commuting distance.

• Pay: £12–£14 per hour (depending on experience and role undertaken).

• Shifts are between 4 and 14 hours, depending on your availability and desire to work.
• Regular shifts are Friday (starting at 1:30 PM), Saturday & Sunday (starting at 6:30 AM).
• More shifts may be available as the business grows.
